We at Grand-lares Kennels are labrador retriever enthusiats and have this breed close to our HEARTS . For this reason we have been involved with this lovely breed to the point of becoming founding members of the LABRADOR RETRIEVER CLUB OF PUERTO RICO , founded in 2004 in our Home Town of JUANA DIAZ.
It has been an incredible journey being part of the process of founding this club who was just granted the AKC acreditation . The CLUB has already made his prescence felt in the canine cirles of Puerto Rico and has helped in the betterment of the Sport here in this Island .
I started my HANDLING CLASESS and SEMINARS with some of the founding members of The Labrabrador Retrievier of Puerto Rico with the purpose of promoting the Canine Sports and develop New Talent . DE LA CIMA TEAM, a group of new talented enthutiasts with the goal of representing the Island in International Canine Events was born .
DE La CIMA TEAM represented PUERTO RICO successfully at the WORLD SHOW 2005 in Argentina and in 2006 embarked for the Canadian Cluster of Shows , bringing Home 3 Canadian Champions and THE BEST PUPPY AWARD of the Portuguese Water Dog Club of Canada.
